Measuring bubble-size distributions and void fractions
in gas/liquid mixtures and flows, the ABS Acoustic Bubble
Spectrometer® is useful in many two-phase flow
applications. Since a bubble’s acoustical cross-section is three to
four orders of magnitude greater than its geometric cross-section,
bubble content can be determined in the presence of particulates
with no requirement for liquid or container transparency.
